Laurice is still fast asleep, which is great since she was in some discomfort in recovery, the surgery went as planned and they did all that they needed to do for round one of the battle. We now wait for the pathology results to see if the lymph nodes contain signs of cancer, if so then it's more surgery. Since its a public holiday here on Monday, we wont get the results until Wednesday, so our focus is on recovery from the surgery until we know what we are dealing with for round two.
Thank you for the flowers and well wishes, I expect that Laurice will be recovered enough in the morning to update you herself.
Tony
Thanks for keeping us posted Tony. Hope the recovery goes well. Baby steps... Thinking of you guys xxx Ronja and Steve

Hi Tony...thanks so much for keeping us posted with Laurice's progress. Having this blog to communicate with you and her is ideal. I'm ashamed to say that this is my first blog participation. It took me an hour or so trying to figure it out. Happy to hear Laurice is getting some rest and surgery went well. Wednesday seems so long to wait but hopefully that is a sign for good news. I hope you are armed with all of LT's electronics because she may be experiencing some withdrawal symptoms once she is wide awake. :) Joking aside...our prayers are with you all. Machelle
ReplyDeleteYeah I am not the ONLY first time blogger. No wonder it took myself and hubby four goes to get one message to you. Thanks LT and T for teaching us how to communicate in the 21st century. Must get champagne to drink to LT's health over the weekend. Hope Verve will do... xxxx Ronja
