Sitting and waiting....

It's interesting how we view and "feel" time....this past week has been full of waiting and more waiting. I can honestly admit that I am not good in the back seat and just letting everyone else be in charge and sit and ...wait. Okay, now I know a few of you are perhaps smiling or even laughing at that comment as you already know that about me...but perhaps it's good to state the obvious. I am starting this blog prior to doing the scans....I sit in a reflective mood and think about things that are most important to me....But you also probably know that I tend to do that as well (eg my other blog...Striving to Make a Difference).  I do enjoy "thinking time" normally but this has tested me somewhat....

So I will finish this for now ...as I wait ...and sit in queues for the day. Today time seemingly continues the same pace ...at a very painstakingly slow and measured rate....but I will spend it thinking about the important things...and that is quite special to give myself that time and space.

  1. Keep focusing on that Hummingbird and Brown Bear symbolism! Thinking of you today, I know you can remain calm and patient in all those queues and as you await your results! We all love you and are here for you and we will all take the next step with you by your side- whatever that may be. Keep positive. Love always, Narelle and family. PS. Tell Keely and Tony there are no muffins in today's cooking schedule, but there are yoyos!xxxx

  2. So impressed with your inner strength. We are all thinking of you here back at BP. I attended the international womens day conference in construction on Friday. A lady, that took over your previous role,(Is there anything you don't do!) said some really lovely words about you and wished you all the best. PS. Bubbles are always a good plan.

  3. Dear Laurice, I was just informed of this. Was working on my study, now I'm only thinking about you. It was fabulous the positive energy in your posts. There is only one step to win the battle which is waiting a little bit more. It is also nice to see your family takes good care of you like butterflies encircle a candle light (from a Persian poetic metaphor).
Almost month ago, I had a dream. Odd to my usual memory but I distinctly remember four persons clapping at my confirmation report. You might guess but let me confirm that you were one of them. Just to update, the seminar is on 27th of March ;)
Praying for you all the time, your mentee Hamzeh
